How RANSOC Works
RANSOC (Realtime Adaptive Normalization for Satisfaction of Curiosity) balances between:
- Returning the most relevant results
- Ensuring users explore the full capability spectrum
weight[i] = mass[i] / distance(input, result[i])
After each selection:
- Selected result's mass decreases by α
- Other results' masses increase proportionally
